Honoring Darkness in Devotion to Your Light

As we move through the deep, introspective season of winter, we are naturally called inward, to nurture, to refuel, to reinvent. Yet in a society that values constant productivity, this pull toward rest and reflection can feel uncomfortable, unsupportive and at times, even daunting.

In an effort to stay relevant, to count, to matter, we have been conditioned to be in constant motion, to suppress our wounds and to bury the parts of ourselves we think are undeserving, not good enough, broken and damaged, favoring only the qualities that we deem acceptable and therefore worthy of our love.

Yet, sweet one, what if those very places you try so diligently to hide, hold the deepest wisdom of your being?

If reading this creates fire in your belly then take a listen to this episode where I dive deeper!

I explore how embracing our inner darkness—our wounds, our fears, our shadows—can lead to profound healing and transformation. How my own journey has taught me that the very parts I once rejected were actually my greatest teachers and that when we stop resisting and start listening, we find that our deepest pain can in fact alchemize into our greatest strength.

This is not an easy practice. But it is one that offers incredible freedom. When we acknowledge and integrate our shadow, we step more fully into our own light. And in this season of long nights and quiet reflection, Mother Earth herself is inviting us to rest, to listen, and to embrace all of who we are.

And, if you missed last week’s newsletter, I shared the exciting news that this special segment of the podcast is back, offering reflections, insights, and conversations to deepen our spiritual journey together and inspire us all to live, awakened, embodied and empowered.
