The world feels heavy right now, there is no doubting that. There’s so much happening that is beyond our control, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. In times like these, having something to lean on, a simple practice to return to, can be incredibly grounding.
That’s why I want to share three of my favorite prayers with you today. These are simple, yet deeply powerful intentions that have guided me through uncertainty, fear, and change. They remind me that I am not alone, that divine support is always available, and that every moment, no matter how challenging, holds an opportunity for growth.
- Show Me
This is the prayer I use when I feel lost, when I don’t know what’s next, or when I need guidance but don’t know what to ask for. It’s simple: Show me. Show me the way. Show me what to do. Show me the lesson hidden within this moment. When I surrender to this prayer, I allow something greater than myself to step in, revealing possibilities I couldn’t have imagined on my own.
- Help Me
When life feels overwhelming, when I am burdened with too much, when I don’t have the answers—I turn to this prayer: Help me. Please help. Help me see clearly. Help me carry this weight. Help me understand. This prayer opens the door to divine support, inviting in the unseen forces that guide and uplift us when we need it most. And every time I have whispered these words, help has come—sometimes in subtle ways, sometimes in ways so undeniable they take my breath away.
- Thank You
Gratitude is not just a practice; it is an energy, a force that shifts everything. This prayer is my daily mantra: Thank you. Thank you for the beauty. Thank you for the lessons. Thank you for what I love, and thank you for what challenges me. Even when I don’t understand why something is happening, I trust that there is a purpose, and in acknowledging this, I create space for divine wisdom to move through me. Gratitude softens resistance, opens the heart, and allows us to receive life as it unfolds.
I invite you to carry these prayers with you. Whisper them in moments of doubt. Hold them in your heart when you need reassurance. Let them be your anchor, your comfort, your guide. The world is shifting, but within you is a deep well of wisdom, a divine presence that will always be there when you ask.
