How Change Can Guide You Into Deeper Truth

Change has a way of unsettling us.

It can shake our footing, stir our fears, and pull us out of the familiar.

Yet if we pause long enough to breathe, we are given the opportunity to understand that every change reveals a new perspective.

Recently, while walking near the reservoir, I was reminded of this truth.

Each rise and fall of the waterline had reshaped the landscape,

sometimes a trail across the bottom,

sometimes a high path above,

and now, a low shoreline path I’d never noticed before.

Without the water shifting, I would never have seen it.

✨That is the gift of change.

It invites us to move differently and to step into terrain we didn’t know existed.

And while change can be tender or even painful, whether in our relationships, our work, or the state of our world, it is also a portal.

A doorway into a new way of being.

Instead of resisting change, what would happen if you met it with curiosity?

What if you let it guide you toward a path you could not have imagined before?

💜Because the truth is, change is not just something that happens to you.

It is something that opens you.
