Meditation Practices That Transformed My Spiritual Path

Meditation has been one of the most consistent and transformative practices in my spiritual journey.

No matter how much I’ve grown, expanded, or evolved, I always return to it.

It is a way to connect with yourself, understand yourself more deeply, and cultivate a quiet, intuitive awareness that shapes how you move through the world.

There are so many ways to meditate, and each one offers a different doorway to presence.

Whether you are just starting or have a daily practice, here are some tools to bring with you to the cushion.

  1. Sitting with the breath – simple, challenging, and powerful. Noticing the inhale and exhale helps you anchor in the moment, even when the mind wanders.

  2. Guided visualizations – these help train your mind to focus, teaching it to follow intention rather than distraction.

  3. Connecting with your Guides – whether star beings, ancestors, or higher energies, opening to these connections can expand your perspective and guidance.

  4. Grounding with the Earth – connecting with your body and surroundings, like a tree, river, or the soil beneath your feet, helps you feel supported and present.

  5. Watching your thoughts – observing them like clouds passing in the sky, without attachment, allows freedom from the constant chatter of the mind

  6. Meditating with your body – body scans and intimate awareness of every part of your vessel helps you inhabit the present moment fully.

All these practices lead to the same place: NOW.

They bring you home to your own presence, help you anchor in gratitude, possibility, and love, and teach you that everything you need is available in this moment.

If you want to explore these practices more deeply, you can listen to the full teaching in this Soul Coaching episode.
