Nurturing Love and Intuition

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, let’s explore the theme of love – a vital element in connecting with your intuition and that inner voice we all possess. Our heart chakra, the energetic center of our being, acts as a gateway to other realms, to the unseen world. It’s the seat of our spiritual essence and our link to the Divine.

Maintaining a regular practice of tuning into your heart is crucial. This involves engaging with your heart on a mental, emotional, physical, and energetic level.

Physically, it can be as simple as being mindful of your posture. Do you tend to close off your heart by hunching your shoulders forward, or do you allow it to lead you, open and receptive? I find the yoga practice of heart opening, like lying on two blocks, incredibly effective in physically encouraging the heart to open.

Energetically, visualize your heart chakra. Engage in meditations that focus on this area, envisioning it spinning, lighting up, and expanding with a radiant green energy. Such practices help in energetically opening your heart to the world.

On a mental and emotional level, it’s important to ask yourself how receptive you are to love. Are you closing yourself off due to limiting beliefs about what’s possible and what you deserve? How open are you to receiving love from others and to giving love in return? This isn’t limited to people; it extends to everything you are devoted to in life. Embracing love and letting life love you back, can significantly enhance your intuitive awareness.

Your chakras play a vital role in this process. The lower three chakras connect you to the Earth and your physical existence, while the upper three tie you to spirituality and intuition. The heart chakra, positioned in the middle, serves as a portal between heaven and earth. We channel energy from the cosmos and the Earth, meeting in the heart.

So, this Valentine’s Day, I invite you to step outside the narratives of eternal love from others as your defining marker, and truly connect with your own heart. Ask yourself, what does your heart truly desire? Not what you think you should do, but what you would love your life to look like, feel like, be like. Pursue what you love rather than what you believe you should. This approach not only fosters a deeper connection with your heart but also allows you to be more present in every aspect of your life.

Wishing you all a day filled with love – for yourself, others, and the planet.

Sarah xoxo
