Embracing Healing – Moving Beyond Trauma and Pain

by | Nov 1, 2023 | Blog, Blog Post | 0 comments

Many of us go through terribly hard things in life, and are forced to endure traumas of all kinds. It is very natural for the body to hold onto this pain, even after years or even decades afterwards. While we may have been made victims at some point in our lives, it doesn’t mean that we are victims forever. There is always hope in moving forward, in feeling joy and feeling safe again, despite the risks that we take in letting that part of ourselves go.

It’s okay to acknowledge that healing takes time. The scars left by past traumas can linger, but they don’t define who you are today. The old and tender parts of you may be hesitant to let go, and that’s understandable. Healing is a process, and it’s important to be patient with yourself. These wounds may have shaped your past, but they don’t have to control your future.

In the darkest moments, we often discover our greatest strengths. It’s in those times of struggle that we find resilience, compassion, and the capacity for growth. The “worst” parts of us are often the catalysts for positive change. They teach us valuable lessons and push us to become better versions of ourselves.

Our past experiences, whether in this lifetime or in past lifetimes, can profoundly influence our present reality. Understanding this connection can provide insights into our current struggles and pave the way for healing. It’s a reminder that you are not alone in your journey; you carry the wisdom of your past selves.

Moving beyond trauma and pain is a journey, not a destination. It requires patience, self-compassion, and a willingness to confront the past. While it may be daunting, remember that the strength you gain from healing is immeasurable.

The process is not about erasing your history but about transforming it into a source of resilience and growth. The pain that you’ve carried for so long can become the catalyst for your greatest triumphs.

My love, your past does not define your future. You have the power to heal and grow, even from the most challenging experiences. Embrace the journey, and remember that the darkest parts of your story can lead you to the brightest chapters of your life. You are strong, you are resilient, and you have the capacity to find joy and safety INSIDE yourself.
